Model: Dell Chromebook 11 3100

Chromebook Issuing Process For Students

  1. The student signs the Chromebook policy agreement once a year before receiving a Chromebook

  2. After verifying that the student has signed the Chromebook policy agreement, they are issued a Dell 3100 Chromebook and a Dell 3100 Charger on a random basis. The Chromebooks and chargers are checked out separately, making the student responsible for each item individually. In the past, giving students the same Chromebook every year led to problems for the IT department, which had to spend a few weeks during the summer removing stickers and organizing devices for the following year's Chromebook checkout process. In case you receive a Chromebook and/or charger that has not been properly maintained, kindly exchange the Chromebook at the IT Office.

  3. Throughout the year, it is the responsibility of the student to keep the Chromebook in good condition. If any defects such as trackpad issues or failure to turn on are noticed, the student must promptly exchange the Chromebook with the IT department for a new one.

  4. In case a student damages the Chromebook to the point of being unusable, they are required to submit it to either the front office or the IT office for assessment. One common issue that arises is the accidental cracking of the screen. In such a scenario, the student can exchange the broken screen Chromebook for a new or repaired one upon payment of the screen repair fee specified in the Chromebook agreement. Lost chargers

  5. Every year, specific dates are scheduled for Chromebook Check-In, usually around the time of the final tests. During Check-In, the student is required to bring their Chromebook and charger, both fully charged. When checking in student devices, the student must fill out a form on a computer. This form helps the IT department keep track of broken devices that were not reported throughout the year. To expedite the process, please bring your lunch ID card with you, and we will scan it instead of requiring you to manually enter your name.

  6. Students, such as Seniors, that need to check in their Chromebook

Chromebook/Laptop/iPad Issuing Process For Staff

  1. To request a Chromebook, Laptop, or iPad, a staff member should submit a support ticket by emailing support@bluebullets.org with "Need Staff (Chromebook, Laptop, iPad)" in the subject line depending on their preference. However, it's worth noting that Teacher Aides are restricted to being assigned Chromebooks due to a limited number of Laptops available.

  2. The staff member signs the Chromebook policy agreement before receiving a device.

  3. Once the staff member's signature on the Chromebook policy agreement has been confirmed, they can check out either a Chromebook or a laptop. Each item, including the Chromebooks, laptops, and chargers, is checked out separately, and the staff member is responsible for each item individually. If you receive a Chromebook, laptop, or charger that has not been adequately maintained, please exchange the Chromebook at the IT Office.

  4. All devices and chargers must be returned to the IT Office on the last day of employment.
