Peoria Art Guild is now accepting applications for the Mentor Arts Program. This program is for Junior and Senior students. Targeting Junior and Senior High school aged students, this 16 week, FREE program pairs a small group of youth apprentices with professional, established mentor artists who specialize in diverse mediums.

This week we recognize our School Board Members! Yesterday was the State's appreciation day for School Board members. If you see a School Board Member take a moment to thank them for their efforts and dedication to the educational community of Knoxville.
Knoxville High School Band will be marching in the Davenport Festival of Trees Parade this Saturday, November 18th. If you decide to come, please cheer really loud for us! And if you can't make it, you can still see the KHS band because the parade will be broadcast on KWQC tv 6 live at 10:00 am November 18. We're number 27, so we'll be early in the parade. You can still cheer really loud for us at home, too.
Please note, the initial notification said Friday. This event is on SATURDAY!
KJHS Boys Basketball plays tonight at Rockridge JH. 7th grade game begins at 5:30 pm. For any fans attending, please use Door #5 (JH entrance on the north side of the building) to enter the facility. Fans should NOT enter through the HS entrance. Thanks and Go Big Blue!
Attention: The KHS girls basketball team plays at home tomorrow (Wednesday) night against IVC. 6pm tip-off for the Fresh/Soph team, varsity to follow. This is part of the Geneseo Thanksgiving Girls Basketball Tournament. Admission is $5.00.
The first dance of the year is this Friday! There will be games with prizes and lots of great music and dancing...not to mention yummy food! On Wednesday and Thursday, students may purchase admission tickets for a discount of $1. They can order the tickets on the KJHS Student Council Google Classroom. Junior & Senior Parents/Guardians and their students are encouraged to attend. Following the presentation there will be a Q&A session.
