Need to get into the Holiday Spirit? Come support the cast of the winter choir & theatre Holiday Radio Show production. Hear radio programming skits with a 1940's flare and beautiful Christmas song performances. Admission is a free will donation, if you are able! Any money collected will go back into supporting the musical production for next year!! Performances are Saturday, December 7 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 8 at 3:00 p.m. in the Knoxville High School Auditorium. The show runs about an hour in length.

The KHS Production Class is selling hand made items for Christmas as a fundraiser for the program. This year they have: 3 and 5 hook stocking hangers for $20 and $25. Congratulations to Alyssa Higgins on her 15th place finish at the IHSA State Cross-Country meet in Peoria. Alyssa is also this weeks KHS Midwest Bank Athlete of the Week. At the State meet, Alyssa competed against 255 runners from across the state. Great Job Alyssa !

Attention: The Lady Bullets Varsity and JV basketball teams tip-off the 24-25 season next week in the Geneseo Tournament. Please see the attachment for the tournament schedule. Please note their first game in the tournament is next Tuesday, 11/19/24 , at Sterling High School. They will then play the remainder of the games at Geneseo High School.

Reminder: Meet the Bullets for the Winter Sports season is tomorrow, Friday, November 15th at KHS. The Winter sports teams will be introduced and the boys and girls basketball teams will scrimmage. Introductions of the teams will begin at 5:45pm followed by the scrimmages.

In honor of Veterans Day, there is NO SCHOOL on Monday, November 11, 2024.

Parents, with the changing of the season, the need for Tylenol and Ibuprofen has increased significantly. Unfortunately our supply cannot meet the demand of the students. If your child is one that needs over the counter medications regularly, please bring those items to the school for your student's use. If you would like to make a donation of Tylenol or Ibuprofen to add to our stock, the most used/needed forms are liquid and chewable. We greatly appreciate your assistance in this matter.

Congratulations to KHS Cross-Country runner Alyssa Higgins on advancing to the State Cross-Country Championships this Saturday, November 9th. The race will take place at Detweiller Park. 8327 N Galena Rd, Peoria, IL 61615. 9 AM start time.

Good luck to KHS Cross-Country runners Emmalyn Hensley, Alyssa Higgins, and Emily King as the compete in the IHSA Cross-Country Sectional tomorrow. The Sectional will take place at Saukie Golf Course - 3101 38th St, Rock Island, IL 61201. 10:30am start time.
